About
About Chertila
Chertila is an AI-powered text-to-animation generator. Describe a concept in plain language, and it designs a full animated scene — shapes, labels, arrows, timing — and renders it to MP4, WebM, or MOV in 720p, 1080p, or 4K. The product is built and operated independently, with a transparent credit-based pricing model and a public REST API for automation.
What Chertila does
Chertila takes a one-paragraph prompt and produces a complete animated explainer: scenes, charts, callouts, motion timing, and an editable scene graph. It is designed to replace the manual work of stitching together stills in a video editor when the goal is to explain an idea, not produce cinematic content. Optional voiceover scripts can be passed in to align scene pacing with narration. Outputs render server-side in 10–60 seconds and download as standard video files.
Who builds it
Chertila is developed and operated by Oleg Stefanov, an independent software engineer. The full product — model orchestration, scene engine, editor, billing, infrastructure, and documentation — is built and maintained by a single team focused on a narrow problem: turning written explanations into watchable animations. Operating as a sole proprietor under Russian Federation law (NPD tax regime, INN 591140276604) keeps the cost structure lean and pricing predictable.
Who it's for
Chertila is built for people who explain hard ideas: educators producing classroom material, scientists summarizing research findings, product teams creating internal training and onboarding videos, marketers shipping social-format explainers, and developers automating animation generation through the API. Anyone who has ever needed an animated diagram and didn't want to learn a video editor is the target user.
Why it exists
Existing animation tools split into two camps: heavyweight editors (After Effects, DaVinci, Premiere) that demand video-production skills, and template-based tools (Animaker, Vyond, Doodly, VideoScribe) that limit you to pre-built scenes. Chertila aims at a third path: describe the idea in words, get an editable animated scene back, then refine timing or visuals if needed. The fast path stays one prompt away; the deep path stays available.
